I noticed the postback in WSS 2.0 with ASP.NET 2.0 issue was closed. I was just curious what the fix for this was. Be nice to know if there's a gotcha that needs to be avoided for development against WSS 2.0 with ASP.NET 2.0.

Thanks!

Nothing major, just had to get some form dependencies fixed. It's because I'm using a SharePoint form and set of controls that the creation isn't like a normal control.

There are still problems with WSS 2.0 + .NET 2.0 in the 1.2.0.0 release. I upgraded my web site to 2.0 and ran the upgrade command, "stsadm -o upgrade -forceupgrade -url http://<server_name>/sites/", and after this the Post button does nothing. I hope the fix for this issue will be included in the 2.0.0.0 release, until then we will have to use the standard SharePoint discussion board... Keep up the good work!

Try adding the script code at http://www.codeplex.com/SPFORUMS/Thread/View.aspx?ThreadId=8369 into the sites default.aspx. Worked for me.

I would prefer not to add the code to my master or aspx page. I have a webpart that ads the script to the page, but it doesn't seem to work. Clicking Post or Cancel still makes the page freeze and be completely uncommunicative.

Any ideas?
