We've run in to a problem with the Web Part where we are now receiving the following message:
An unexpected error has occurred.

Web Parts Maintenance Page: If you have permission, you can use this page to temporarily disable Web Parts or remove personal settings. For more information, contact your site administrator.

Troubleshoot issues with Windows SharePoint Services.

Has anyone seen this before? I also receive the following error when attempting to click on a forum entry:

Invalid at the top level of the document. Error processing resource '

An error has occurred with the Forums Web Part.

Yeah, I am getting this now too. It was working fine last week, then I had to migrate to a new box. I set up a new server, restored the database to it from tape, and everything was fine.

Except this issue...existing web part pages throw the error you mentioned. New web part pages work fine.

Did you find a fix?

I've not found a solution to date. I've gotten a lot of heat from the users about this problem, but I haven't found anything here that will resolve this issue. Still looking and still hopeful!
